After 10 minutes, Honorato Landa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Campos during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Paraguay booed when IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 85th minute Isaltino Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Jean Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Esteves in the 89th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Jean Fernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Many of Paraguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paraguay may have spent more time on the ball, but IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
