Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Lehoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than venturinha F.C. throughout the match.
