Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Adriano Capixaba made a huge save. With his leg Adriano Capixaba managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Adriano Capixaba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmundo Espiga had several of the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Adriano Capixaba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriano Capixaba was a little too slow when Edmundo Espiga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-8. The Honduras players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
