After having played for 12 minutes, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Espinar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Ivan Navarro in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Lisandro Aresti. In the 14th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Juvenal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. After 22 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Gonzales was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. When Silvestre Niguel came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Niguel couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Gerazan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A sloppy throw-in by Ivan Navarro in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Silvestre Niguel. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Silvestre Niguel took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. In the 44th minute, Silvestre Niguel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Eneas was the one to do the kick off. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Sebastian Villa could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Higinio Gonzales however easily saved by the left post. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Gonzales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Higinio Gonzales. Higinio Gonzales yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Higinio Gonzales was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Baldomiro Gerazan in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
