Cezmi Gök's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Cezmi Gök took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Arnoldo Leicea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by MarineerS FK's Cezmi Gök. But to his dismay, Cezmi Gök quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Cezmi Gök's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cezmi Gök came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mecnun Seha hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. MarineerS FK were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kıvanç Balyemez took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Carl Rundell managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 40thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MarineerS FK's Arnoldo Leicea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezmi Gök in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mecnun Seha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mecnun Seha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Rydberg scored 6-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Žydrūnas Pauža had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Leicea made a huge save. In the 88th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that MarineerS FK's Arnoldo Leicea managed to reach the ball for a save. Derviş Akçınar made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Carl Rundell immediately put the ball in play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Rundell in the 95th minute of the match.
