If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the game, Fracasados's Javier Beti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The crowd rose to their feet as Theagenis Papageorgiou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Theagenis Papageorgiou sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Javier Beti notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Beti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Javier Beti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. Javier Beti scored 5-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mai Yao Yao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Beti in the 35th minute of play. If Ciro Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 52 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fracasados's Javier Beti got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Javier Beti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mai Yao Yao came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After having played for 66 minutes, Javier Beti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fracasados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Beti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theagenis Papageorgiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fracasados booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mai Yao Yao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Fracasados getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Honorio Lapurdi hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mai Yao Yao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mai Yao Yao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After a rather tough play, Fracasados's Roman Urre got a free kick in the 87th minute. Fracasados's Mai Yao Yao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fracasados fully deserved thier win.
