In the 13th minute, PATADAS S.A's Anibal Ostadar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jesus Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Jesus Milian sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Milian in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Ostadar during the 23rd minute. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Montrel made a kick off. If Jesus Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute Jesus Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, PATADAS S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Raul Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PATADAS S.A's Raul Llorian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, Mexico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
