Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of -BZF- The Elder Gods booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Nastac having to interfere. After a rather tough play, -BZF- The Elder Gods's Lucrețiu Drăghici got a free kick in the 11th minute. Horaţiu Nastac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, -BZF- The Elder Gods's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Horaţiu Nastac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Nastac having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Horaţiu Nastac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tomas Illescas sped through -BZF- The Elder Gods's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horaţiu Nastac. Horaţiu Nastac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes -BZF- The Elder Gods got a freekick which was hit by Valer Bosioc. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Nastac having to interfere. Horaţiu Nastac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ştefan Burdujan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horaţiu Nastac saved -BZF- The Elder Gods from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ştefan Burdujan made a kick off. Valer Bosioc's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valer Bosioc helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, -BZF- The Elder Gods's Valer Bosioc got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Jose Correa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horaţiu Nastac. -BZF- The Elder Gods's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Correa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 60th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. -BZF- The Elder Gods's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Horaţiu Nastac in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucrețiu Drăghici made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, -BZF- The Elder Gods's Horaţiu Nastac got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, -BZF- The Elder Gods's goalkeeper Horaţiu Nastac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Nastac having to interfere. Horaţiu Nastac stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Horaţiu Nastac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Lucrețiu Drăghici threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Horaţiu Nastac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Venezuela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than -BZF- The Elder Gods throughout the match.
