Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Laerte Toscano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Pikachuzim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 4th match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Toscano to maneuver through the defense. AS Pikachuzim's Claudinho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. If Victor da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor da Fonseca in the 9th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Torres in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Tiago Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Pikachuzim and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Cristian Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinho Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Claudinho Moura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Claudinho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Claudinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Claudinho Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AS Pikachuzim's Claudinho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 37th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Claudinho Moura. AS Pikachuzim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 48 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Claudinho Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dadá Torres made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudinho Moura saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after AS Pikachuzim's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Claudinho Moura in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to AS Pikachuzim getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Laerte Toscano hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Claudinho Moura in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Moura made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Lira to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, AS Pikachuzim's Claudinho Moura got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by AS Pikachuzim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. AS Pikachuzim's Claudinho Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save AS Pikachuzim from getting a goal against them. In the 87th play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Claudinho Moura. 0-3. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Moura having to interfere. When Laerte Toscano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
