Kjell Trengereid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the game, AntraX FDP.'s Vahdet Ulumeriç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 21st minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute of the match AntraX FDP. got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maximiliano Vime ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led AntraX FDP.'s Ponce Ibaute to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vahdet Ulumeriç received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Vahdet Ulumeriç slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahdet Ulumeriç in the 30th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. A collision led to AntraX FDP. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fe Nestares hit a great ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After a rather tough play, AntraX FDP.'s Alejandro Telego got a free kick in the 58th minute. AntraX FDP. made a substitution. Erick Sandoval replaced Fe Nestares. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AntraX FDP. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Telego didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Vahdet Ulumeriç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AntraX FDP. made a substitution. Cahya Tomagola replaced Vahdet Ulumeriç. Cahya Tomagola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Cahya Tomagola made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
