After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Songurhan Mete kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in OROTINENSE's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liu Yong Yong came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Parvan Hadzhipetkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liu Yong Yong saved OROTINENSE from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Talamanca in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Liu Yong Yong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Alfonso Rulli threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jose Correa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Liu Yong Yong having to make a save. In the 36th minute David Talamanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, David Talamanca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OROTINENSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when OROTINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Talamanca didn't get a good kick on the ball. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 56th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. OROTINENSE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Jose Correa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Liu Yong Yong quite easily take care of the ball. In the 57th minute, Jose Correa made a precise shot to the right of Liu Yong Yong. OROTINENSE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by OROTINENSE's Juraj Múdry. But to his dismay, Juraj Múdry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 64th minute, Jacek Walczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Liu Yong Yong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacek Walczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Carvajal to maneuver through the defense. OROTINENSE's Iordache Opincaru was substituted for Songurhan Mete. OROTINENSE made a substitution. Minor Talamanca replaced Juraj Múdry. OROTINENSE's Nuno Orihuela was substituted for Jesus Cortez. 86 minutes into the game, David Talamanca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Talamanca in the 95th minute of play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that OROTINENSE were the better team. OROTINENSE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
