Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Conrao. Omar Conrao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Domínguez AFC's Humberto Hermon in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Jairo Tino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Conrao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play forced Domínguez AFC's goalkeeper Omar Conrao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Domínguez AFC's Artemio Cidro got a free kick in the 24th minute. Omar Conrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Domínguez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Omar Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Bernabe Weterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Domínguez AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Omar Conrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Ove Colin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Karlo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Omar Conrao. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Hermon was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Gaitano in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Omar Conrao firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Omar Conrao in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Domínguez AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Omar Conrao quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Gaitano in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Luis Andino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 72 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Colin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute Domínguez AFC were awarded a corner. Artemio Cidro went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Domínguez AFC's corner Artemio Cidro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Domínguez AFC's goalkeeper Omar Conrao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Conrao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Omar Conrao made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Domínguez AFC's Omar Conrao managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Gaitano in the 91st minute of the match. After 92 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Artemio Cidro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Domínguez AFC's Artemio Cidro to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 94th minute Sven-Ove Colin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
