Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Peru booed when Floripa Lions FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Ilie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amerigo Muzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amerigo Muzi came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Milagros Fraga. But to his dismay, Milagros Fraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Amerigo Muzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amerigo Muzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Amerigo Muzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emmanuel Reyes got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eliseo Mina. 33 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amerigo Muzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Amerigo Muzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luz Tejedor 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. After 60 minutes Floripa Lions FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Amerigo Muzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amerigo Muzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 79th minute, Karl Lammertz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Floripa Lions FSCMZ made a substitution. Hortêncio Montenegro replaced Luiz Gustavo do Valle. In the 83rd minute José Carlos Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hortêncio Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Amerigo Muzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 85th minute. After 86 minutes of play, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Hortêncio Montenegro made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 91 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amerigo Muzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. A collision led to Floripa Lions FSCMZ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Fernandão Faria hit a great ball. Gilberto Sousa took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The Floripa Lions FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
