The referee ignored Rosière FC's protests and gave Luis Advíncula a yellow card for diving instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Teddy Garde hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ernesto Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Ernesto Santana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Johan Lefebre hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Renaud Carlo made a huge save. In the 66thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosière FC's Renaud Carlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rosière FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaud Carlo came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
