The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Warriors Máfia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Julin in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, 14 YâReN FC's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Prestes. After 13 minutes of play, 14 YâReN FC's Kurt Julin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Kayhan Özercan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Warriors Máfia's Durval da Costa. Durval da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, Warriors Máfia's goal looked a bit too open when Fırat Uruç came free, but Durval da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Warriors Máfia's zone, Kurt Julin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval da Costa came out of the goal and Kurt Julin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseu Soeiro in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 14 YâReN FC's Sol Campbell. If Kurt Julin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the game, Kurt Julin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Durval da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Kurt Julin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the 14 YâReN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Julin couldn't finish the play. Durval da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Julin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durval da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Julin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Julin in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Warriors Máfia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 14 YâReN FC were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egídio Linhares made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Kayhan Özercan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Durval da Costa. Kayhan Özercan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After 55 played minutes Warriors Máfia got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Viana. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Julin in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durval da Costa saved Warriors Máfia from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Julin got free with Durval da Costa in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Alberto Kempes in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Alberto Kempes in the 60th minute of play forced 14 YâReN FC's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes of play, 14 YâReN FC's Kurt Julin made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Durval da Costa was a little too slow when Kurt Julin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-8. Warriors Máfia's Dawid Luty was substituted for Sidney Viana. Warriors Máfia's Doriva Alves was substituted for Otsoko Amurrio. Warriors Máfia's Antônio Carlos Moura was substituted for Válbson Mendes. Kurt Julin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Durval da Costa made a huge save. Durval da Costa came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by 14 YâReN FC's Toma Bo. But to his dismay, Toma Bo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Durval da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskil Hermansson in the 83rd minute of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind 14 YâReN FC's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Doriva Alves hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Warriors Máfia's goal looked a bit too open when Toma Bo came free, but Durval da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 YâReN FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
