Márcio de Salles made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. 7 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Tiago Ortiz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Igor Mota tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Gamus was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Mota in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Bandeca FC's Igor Mota dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Márcio de Salles got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Oscar Silveira. Igor Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 36th minute of the match. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 38th minute of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Ortiz in the 41st minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Bandeca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Salles to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tiago Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandeca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bandeca FC's Arlindo de Carvalho was substituted for Oscar Silveira. Bandeca FC made a substitution. The attack was good, but when Fernando Banders in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Guaberto Gamus came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Moises Tafalla hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bandeca FC's Caetano Azevedo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hunor Adam in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Vito Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95thth minute of the game Hunor Adam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Hunor Adam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Bandeca FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
