The supporters of Panama booed when Real Fantasma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shi Kun Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 24th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Arlo in the 26th minute of the match. When Real Fantasma's Jose Arlo in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. Danilo Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. After some careless play in the Real Fantasma defense, Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shi Kun Yu. The Real Fantasma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shi Kun Yu should have stopped the shot. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jose Arlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Arlo ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Arlo came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Arlo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Danilo Matos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 55th minute, Danilo Matos made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Shi Kun Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Jose Arlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Fantasma's Shi Kun Yu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Real Fantasma from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Kun Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Danilo Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. Falcão Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The Real Fantasma support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
