Nick Schipmans's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nick Schipmans helped the player get up and apologised. Nick Schipmans kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Yan in the 15th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Arcan Çapan sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arcan Çapan. Arcan Çapan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fausto de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Yan in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, one of FCF north:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FCF north's Fausto de Almeida. 1-1. Nick Schipmans made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Nick Schipmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. FCF north's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Arcan Çapan sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 3-2 became the score in the 69th minute when Arcan Çapan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by FCF north's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. In the 85th match minute, FCF north was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Bilintx to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Fausto de Almeida in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arcan Çapan in the 98th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
