Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cassius Byrne kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Roneixon Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cassius Byrne made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros managed to reach the ball for a save. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Roneixon Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Espigão Steamrollers defense, Monty Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonçalo de Medeiros. The Espigão Steamrollers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonçalo de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 18th minute of play forced Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Gonçalo de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmyr Meira's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmyr Meira helped the player get up and apologised. Gonçalo de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonçalo de Medeiros was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Gonçalo de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 36th minute of the match. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Roneixon Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roneixon Siqueira was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gonçalo de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Gonçalo de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roneixon Siqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gonçalo de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Yuri Paranaense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The corner was taken by Kara Bhattacharya in the 78th minute. Kara Bhattacharya made a great header on Espigão Steamrollers's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. 79 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Gonçalo de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Baker. Khalid Parry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When Khalid Parry in the 91st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gonçalo de Medeiros kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Gonçalo de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Espigão Steamrollers throughout the match.
