Themba Takane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Boc in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Giacchetti in the 14th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Piara Tittarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Reconquistense FC defense, Demetrio Giacchetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Piara Tittarelli. The Reconquistense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piara Tittarelli should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Giacchetti came free, but Piara Tittarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reconquistense FC's Piara Tittarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Giacchetti in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Cimarrones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Amado came free, but Themba Takane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmichael Cridland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Piara Tittarelli having to make a save. In the 86thth minute of the game Xaime Urrechua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reconquistense FC's Piara Tittarelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Brecht Dheedene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Seme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reconquistense FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cimarrones F.C. had controlled the match.
