In the 10th minute of the match, Jonatan Iraitz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Milferio's Celso Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. Enzo Tono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Tono in the 26th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Andrea Herrera with Feng Xiang Yi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Milagros Fraga struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Celso Javiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 37 minutes into the match, Milferio's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Celso Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Javiar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Jonatan Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Iraitz came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Terry Jamieson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Terry Jamieson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terry Jamieson in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celso Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Terry Jamieson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terry Jamieson in the 72nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Javiar made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target.
