Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgar de Lara kicked off to start the match. Edgar de Lara scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Décio Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Décio Tróia came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Eriberto de Souza notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vebjørn Knutsen, made in the 20th minute of the game. Edgar de Laras short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 23 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the LaCity players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto de Souza in the 32nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Arnaldo Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, LaCity's Edgar de Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 41 minutes into the match, Edgar de Lara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 4-1. Edgar de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Eriberto de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LaCity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar de Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 54th minute Edgar de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto de Souza in the 62nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LaCity's Hermínio Siqueira was substituted for Hílton Amaral. LaCity made a substitution. Duarte Madureira replaced Richard Silveira. Hílton Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. LaCity's Anselmo Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar de Lara's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Nunes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LaCity's Edgar de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Paraibano in the 92nd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LaCity had played much better football throughout.
