Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Marquez Padolles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Pedrinho Godoi got a free kick in the 5th minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Márk Sári was slow to take the kick. During this time Coritiba Foot Ball Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Márk Sári to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alvaro Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 15th minute of the match. Fausto Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marquez Padolles in the 19th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 27 minutes into the match, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Alvaro Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho Godoi made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. Alvaro Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marquez Padolles. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marquez Padolles went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Alvaro Rudolfo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Abram Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Abram Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Rudolfo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquez Padolles in the 62nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Marquez Padolles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Fausto Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Marquez Padolles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Sári in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Toninho Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coritiba Foot Ball Club and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Toninho Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Kevin Mastache from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Alvaro Rudolfo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 92 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Godoi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Abram Secada quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Coritiba Foot Ball Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
