Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Jorge Iztal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Hotz in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Espirillo FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Saverio Cristos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Hotz got free with Dante Lacasa in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leandro Viviano hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jorge Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Hotz in the 27th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Leandro Viviano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espirillo FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leandro Viviano kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Iztal having to interfere. Gregorio Hotz kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 34thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Mexico's keeper Dante Lacasa was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 38th minute of the match Espirillo FC got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aaron Cutberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After recieving a nice pass, Espirillo FC's Aaron Cutberto tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arnoldo Arotza's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Arotza helped the player get up and apologised. Arnoldo Arotza kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 54 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Cutberto in the 54th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. Jorge Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 57th minute of the match. Joel Gaona scored 0-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Iztal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Espirillo FC made a substitution. Joaquim Fernandes replaced Aaron Cutberto. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Espirillo FC's Joaquim Fernandes. But to his dismay, Joaquim Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 81 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. 87 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Elia came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Joaquim Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Espirillo FC had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
