Esteban Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Thracian F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pavel Cenușă hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octav Horea did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Lautaro Navarro 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octav Horea was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Octav Horea made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 60 minutes into the game, Aron Rogozanu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Thracian F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Horea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Horea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Sancho charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Sancho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thracian F.C made a substitution. Francisc Popan replaced Gelu Lera. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Thracian F.C got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcel Zgrăbunţa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcel Zgrăbunţa made a great header on Thracian F.C's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. Thracian F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Honduras for a fine match.
