Fernando Isusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 11th minute of the match, Bonifacio Tartalo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fernando Isusko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Alberg in the 22nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reyes F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Reyes F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Peru's Milagros Fraga getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Reyes F.C. booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Natalio Gurutz made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 29th minute of play forced Reyes F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Isusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teodosio Ucedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Reyes F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Erik Alberg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Reyes F.C.'s Fernando Isusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Erik Alberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Rolando Noboa however easily saved by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

57 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Tartalo came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute of play forced Reyes F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Isusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reyes F.C.'s Fernando Isusko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Reyes F.C. from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Dabi came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Isusko was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Isusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Natalio Gurutz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Joaquin Prats quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 82nd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Fraga to maneuver through the defense. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Milagros Fraga kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Enol in the 86th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Pablo Enol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natalio Gurutz made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rafael Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Isusko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Mina went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Reyes F.C.'s Fernando Isusko got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
