Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Valar morghulis were awarded a corner. Gökay Ömür went to the cornerflag to take it. Ahmet Nedim Ertaş made a great header on Valar morghulis's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 6th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Rencber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Battal Cüneyt Oksu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 27th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. Aşır Koç hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jaime Cazalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rüştü Rencber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Battal Cüneyt Oksu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valar morghulis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Cüneyt Oksu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsa Fındık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Battal Cüneyt Oksu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Battal Cüneyt Oksu sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Valar morghulis getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Aşır Koç hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Battal Cüneyt Oksu to make the kick off. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Battal Cüneyt Oksu in the 51st minute of the match. After 83 minutes of play, Valar morghulis's Battal Cüneyt Oksu made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Cüneyt Oksu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Battal Cüneyt Oksu went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When Camilo Franco fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Camilo Franco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a free kick in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Valar morghulis.
