A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mito Pelé went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Mito Pelé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 苏笑默 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. 苏笑默 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Giovanny Koninkx got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th minute Mito Pelé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mito Pelé in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 苏笑默 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, 周沙风 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in 上海申花SVA's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 苏笑默 came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mito Pelé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mito Pelé came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Mito Pelé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Mito Pelé ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 77 minutes into the match, 上海申花SVA's Mito Pelé sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mito Pelé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 苏笑默 made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Mito Pelé might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mito Pelé ran back to his position shaking his head. After 88 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mito Pelé in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Mito Pelé struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 上海申花SVA. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 上海申花SVA had played much better football throughout.
