Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo Kadorna's Gianluca Pagliuca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gianluca Pagliuca in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Densill 杨天剑 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gianluca Pagliuca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The Deportivo Kadorna fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Deportivo Kadorna's Densill 杨天剑 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Deportivo Kadorna getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Black Gamboa hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Densill 杨天剑, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gianluca Pagliuca made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Densill 杨天剑 made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Densill 杨天剑 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Densill 杨天剑 in the 56th minute of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Densill 杨天剑 in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Norberto Tiadoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norberto Tiadoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Densill 杨天剑. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Beck got free with Julio Vera in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gianluca Pagliuca came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gianluca Pagliuca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Tome's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Tome helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Deportivo Kadorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Tome didn't get a good kick on the ball.
