ROSÁRIO SPORT were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexandros Krieser took the corner. After taking down the ball on ROSÁRIO SPORT's corner Sten Andrejević fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Thiago Pliego stood somewhat misplaced when Sten Andrejević came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Manzanedo during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Andrejević in the 18th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute ROSÁRIO SPORT were awarded a corner. Alexandros Krieser went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sigvard Rosendal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Sten Andrejević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Andrejević in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Sten Andrejević notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Luiz Corrêa made a huge save. In the 65th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Bautista during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ROSÁRIO SPORT getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Martin Bautista hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Figueroa came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luiz Corrêa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 92nd minute, Sten Andrejević made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. 96 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa. Luiz Corrêa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
