When Horacio Silvino came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the La Mazorca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Silvino couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute of the game Angel Abaurre made a throw-in which Horacio Silvino played forward. Karol Kluczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 16 in the game by Horacio Silvino from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Horacio Silvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Silvino in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of La Mazorca booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Horacio Silvino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Mazorca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a La Mazorca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogumil Burowski in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Abaurre during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angel Abaurre hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, La Mazorca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Leguizamón to maneuver through the defense. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Bernardo Ubendu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horacio Silvino was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Silvino in the 61st minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Horacio Silvino made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 65 minutes into the match, Horacio Silvino notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goalkeeper Karol Kluczyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. La Mazorca made a substitution. Gregorio Richie replaced Bogumil Burowski. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Silvino in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's Horacio Silvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Mazorca fully deserved thier win.
