Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eriberto Bordat got the match started through his kick off. Frederic Lefevre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 3rd minute of play. Pipopirata F.C.'s Frederic Lefevre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Pipopirata F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Frederic Lefevre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luciano Pio who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Pipopirata F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Luisito Harkaitz hit a great ball. Julio Vera was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Eriberto Bordat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eriberto Bordat really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 17th minute Eriberto Bordat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Carmelo Pasqual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Pipopirata F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Pipopirata F.C.'s Frederic Lefevre managed to reach the ball for a save. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pipopirata F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 37th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. Eriberto Bordat struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pipopirata F.C.. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederic Lefevre. Pipopirata F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Eriberto Bordat scored 3-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederic Lefevre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Pipopirata F.C. defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederic Lefevre. The Pipopirata F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederic Lefevre should have stopped the shot. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute Eriberto Bordat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play forced Pipopirata F.C.'s goalkeeper Frederic Lefevre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Sebastián Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Sebastián Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Montes in the 86th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Pipopirata F.C. got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luciano Pio ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 92nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Pipopirata F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Pio.
