Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tord Fors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Tord Gustafsson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 9 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tord Gustafsson in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute, Tord Gustafsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 23rd match minute, Smurfarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Dalman to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Jens Björling notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robbie Prima in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tord Gustafsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tord Gustafsson in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 55th minute. Robbie Prima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Staffan Glanselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Smurfarna's Tord Fors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Per-Arne Hammarström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Smurfarna made a substitution. Vilhelm Pettersson replaced Karl Albohm. In the 66th match minute, Smurfarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Arne Hammarström to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Tord Fors when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Smurfarna getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Vilhelm Pettersson hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Tord Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tord Gustafsson in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Smurfarna:s goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tord Gustafsson's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Smurfarna's Ivan Jernberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Dalman in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Smurfarna were the better team. Smurfarna's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
