Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Taribo West sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taribo West got free with Marco Day in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Domingues in the 15th minute of play. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Domingues in the 15th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Pedro Domingues made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Domingues in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 32nd minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Ignacio Di Stasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjetil-André Digernes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ignacio Di Stasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Domingues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Carlsson in the 51st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isótopos V.M.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Taribo West in the 52nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Domingo Oihenarte got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 55 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Domingues came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Isótopos V.M. were awarded a corner. Taribo West went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Isótopos V.M.'s Taribo West to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 66th minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Ignacio Di Stasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Domingues came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Isótopos V.M.'s Gualterio Mede was substituted for Pedro Domingues. The corner led to Isótopos V.M.'s Orvar Carlsson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ignacio Di Stasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ignacio Di Stasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albeiro Usuriaga in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Isótopos V.M. were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
