Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Vito Areta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Areta came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cristobal Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Saritama Lin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taltum FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saritama Lin to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Rodas Valdivieso lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. Vito Areta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Jesus. Taltum FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristobal Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Areta's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Vito Areta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Jesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saritama Lin hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Cristobal Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute of play. Cristobal Jesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 72nd minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Vito Areta put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Saritama Lin got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 77 played minutes Taltum FC got a freekick which was hit by Saritama Lin. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taltum FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Jesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Taltum FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iza Orejo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Taltum FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
