Bernardo Quentin made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Teodosio Mincho immediately put the ball in play. In the 12th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, CENTAURO's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Siro Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Ioritz in the 31st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Siro Cordeiro. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Cordeiro was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When Teodosio Mincho fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Escribanos short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Siro Cordeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Francisco Seco took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Siro Cordeiro to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, CENTAURO's Siro Cordeiro got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. CENTAURO's Siro Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 80th minute of play. Bernardo Quentin made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Teodosio Mincho. Maximiliano Escribano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Cordeiro having to make a save. Siro Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, CENTAURO's goalkeeper Siro Cordeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. In the 86th match minute, CENTAURO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Quentin to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Ioritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Cordeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodosio Mincho kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in CENTAURO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Uruguay. Jaime Cazalla stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Siro Cordeiro. 0-6. When the match was over Uruguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CENTAURO throughout the match.
