Sadikköy SK's Besim Özarı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 5th minute of play. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Besim Özarı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Besim Özarı was left in no man's land by his defense there! Besim Özarı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Julio Vera was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Asım-Ekrem Yaman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Asım-Ekrem Yaman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Besim Özarı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Sadikköy SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Nakoneczny in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Sadikköy SK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucrețiu Dabija ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lucrețiu Dabija made a great header on Sadikköy SK's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. 37 minutes into the match, Sadikköy SK's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Besim Özarı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Behram Kayraalp sent off a good shot on target. The Sadikköy SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Sadikköy SK's Besim Özarı got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sadikköy SK's Besim Özarı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Sadikköy SK from getting a goal against them. After 56 minutes Sadikköy SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Besim Özarı quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Luis Andino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Besim Özarı, 1-3. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kutlay Temizkanoğlu in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, Sadikköy SK's Dariusz Nakoneczny made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Behram Kayraalp took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After a rather tough play, Sadikköy SK's Lucrețiu Dabija got a free kick in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Behram Kayraalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sadikköy SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 80 played minutes Sadikköy SK got a freekick which was hit by Behram Kayraalp. In the 92nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sadikköy SK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
