Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the S.C.CHUÍ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute of the match Bernardinho Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Bernardinho Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Joris Scheer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The goalkeeper, Jonathan Ferrant, was totally fooled by S.C.CHUÍ's Bernardinho Abreu, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardinho Abreu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joris Scheer in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. A collision led to S.C.CHUÍ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Adalberto Soeiro hit a great ball. Bernardinho Abreu might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardinho Abreu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joris Scheer in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris Scheer in the 44th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis León kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Joris Scheer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When Joris Scheer came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the S.C.CHUÍ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joris Scheer couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Scheer came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joris Scheer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.C.CHUÍ's Laércio Vieira was substituted for Caetano Paranaense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Bartolome in the 69th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Bernardinho Abreu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 82nd minute of play forced S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, S.C.CHUÍ's Laércio Vieira got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Scheer came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer. But to his dismay, Joris Scheer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 96th minute of play forced S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that S.C.CHUÍ were the better team. S.C.CHUÍ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
