Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Ioritz got the match started through his kick off. If Victor Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Cordeiro was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. CENTAURO's Siro Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match, Victor Bittor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Gayoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Christian Ioritz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by CENTAURO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jaime Cazalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CENTAURO's Siro Cordeiro did a great save. When Victor Bittor came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the CENTAURO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Bittor couldn't finish the play. Siro Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Maximiliano Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Escribano couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Ioritz in the 31st minute of play. After 31 minutes, Joel Balendin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CENTAURO and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, CENTAURO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Balendin to maneuver through the defense. CENTAURO's Siro Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 35th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CENTAURO's Siro Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, CENTAURO's Christian Ioritz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Siro Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Salvadore during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jaime Cazalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Siro Cordeiro made a huge save. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Siro Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siro Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 76 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Escribanos short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Siro Cordeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Siro Cordeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 88th minute. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball. CENTAURO's Siro Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save CENTAURO from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Uruguay players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
