In the 7th minute Prudencio Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Prudencio Isias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 13 minutes, Prudencio Isias made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Prudencio Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With 17 minutes on the clock, Iker Tafalla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paraguay! Prudencio Isias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. 22 minutes into the match, The Waldos's Prudencio Isias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 23 minutes Paraguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evandro Ortiz who took care of the corner kick. Evandro Ortiz made a great header on The Waldos's corner, it was just that Paraguay's Jacobo Nores managed to reach the ball for a save. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Isias in the 27th minute of play. If Prudencio Isias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Prudencio Isias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marin Ştefănescu's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Prudencio Isias scored 4-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Prudencio Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Ştefănescu got free with Jacobo Nores in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kazimierz Madajczyk was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Prudencio Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Covarrubias made a kick off. Prudencio Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Alvaro Pagomari made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. 60 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Isias came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Waldos were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Paraguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evandro Ortiz took the corner. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Isias in the 64th minute of play. If Marin Ştefănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Alvaro Pagomari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Ştefănescu in the 72nd minute of play. Prudencio Isias struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Waldos. Hector Covarrubias's late challenge caught a The Waldos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Covarrubias helped the player get up and apologised. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The Waldos made a substitution. Leandro Millrick replaced Prudencio Isias. In the 77th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, The Waldos's Evandro Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Leandro Millrick sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. After 86 played minutes The Waldos got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Ortiz. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Leandro Millrick sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. 92 minutes into the game, Alan Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Waldos the free kick. After 93 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Millrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Leandro Millrick took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. The Waldos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
