Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Prudencio Isias took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Prudencio Isias sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Ştefănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Alvaro Pagomari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Prudencio Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to The Waldos getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Kostas Milonas hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Evandro Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvaro Pagomari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Jesus Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Waldos the free kick. Jesus Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Alvaro Pagomari made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 36th minute Evandro Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Pagomari hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a little luck, The Waldos's David Dewulf got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Isias, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Abram Luque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The supporters of The Waldos booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by The Waldos's Prudencio Isias. But to his dismay, Prudencio Isias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After the first half The Waldos were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. Agustin Distiratsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Waldos's Prudencio Isias got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marin Ştefănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of The Waldos booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Waldos made a substitution. Fidel Erdiano replaced 唐崇适. In the 72nd minute of the match The Waldos got a corner. El Salvador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evandro Ortiz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marin Ştefănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Alvaro Pagomari capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alvaro Pagomari really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Dewulf having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Kazimierz Madajczyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. In the 86th minute, Evandro Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Leandro Millrick took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Rogelio Velasco scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 0-12. When the match was over The Waldos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Salvador throughout the match.
