Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Vicente Santana sent off a good shot on target. Freddy Bidun got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hernan Quinton. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fagildo Pamanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Vicente Santana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Vicente Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Vicente Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Consejo del Mate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Bolo Bolaño notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the match, Vicente Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 31 minutes into the game, Vicente Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vicente Santana struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Consejo del Mate. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Fagildo Pamanes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fagildo Pamanes really showed his touch with that goal: 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fagildo Pamanes in the 45th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bolo Bolaño was the one to do the kick off. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 56th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Hernan Quinton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Orlando Gatti didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 8-2. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute, Peyo Fonelleda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Consejo del Mate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-2. Peyo Fonelleda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. In the 88th minute Peyo Fonelleda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peyo Fonelleda's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peyo Fonelleda in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aquiles Cordero took the corner. The corner led to Consejo del Mate's Julio Kemen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 97th minute Bolo Bolaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Consejo del Mate were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Honduras for a fine match.
