The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Elias Oihenarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Mystyc FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mystyc FC's Modesto Roldanillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 35th minute of play. Elias Oihenarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Garrido's late challenge caught a Mystyc FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Garrido helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Felix Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Felix Garrido hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Morata in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Morata in the 85th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Modesto Roldanillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Pastor Bras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mystyc FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Bras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. Mystyc FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
