Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 6th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes Alianza Trujillo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cayetano Montez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Froilan Pascual struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alianza Trujillo. 21 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Tomas Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes Alianza Trujillo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Brandt. Tomas Brandt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Montez in the 37th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Montez in the 40th minute of play. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 47th minute. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomas Brandt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cayetano Montez to strike the kick off in the second half. Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Marcelito Vivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Montez in the 58th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Cayetano Montez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Orlando Casaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Brandt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 66th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomas Brandt, 2-2. A collision led to Alianza Trujillo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Szilveszter Szegh hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Olly Morgan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Iraido Angosto hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Ramon Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Brandt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olly Morgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Olly Morgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alianza Trujillo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
