The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goalkeeper Gustaw Debowy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 9 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Rafa Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Jean Fernandez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Gustaw Debowy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Abraham Alguacil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Gustaw Debowy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustaw Debowy came out and tried to block the shot, but Isidoro Sarmiento slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 46th minute. After the first half IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean Fernandez to make the kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Baiano in the 54th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Pedrinho do Valle took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. made a substitution. Isaltino Esteves replaced Rafa Baiano. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Remigio Intxixu was substituted for Perivaldo Meireles. In the 63rd minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Debowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaltino Esteves got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of play forced IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goalkeeper Gustaw Debowy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Debowy having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Gustaw Debowy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustaw Debowy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. Chants of IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Panama had held the ball for most of the match.
