Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. October 04's Eskil Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. October 04's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fellipe Valle in the 9th minute. After taking down the ball on October 04's corner Fellipe Valle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute Emilio Cascajares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eskil Vester. Eskil Vester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Emilio Cascajares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 28th minute October 04 were awarded a corner. Fellipe Valle went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 31st minute Emilio Cascajares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as October 04's Emilio Cascajares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 after 34 minutes of play. A collision led to October 04 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Gaspar hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Emilio Cascajares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The October 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Cascajares made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eskil Vester was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eskil Vester having to make a save. In the 60th minute, Emilio Cascajares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Eskil Vester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. October 04 made a substitution. Waldemar de Sena replaced Aníbal Correia. Eskil Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Eskil Vester. October 04's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Eskil Vester in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91stth minute of the game Luís Paulo Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Emilio Cascajares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
