Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 叶伟诚's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when 叶伟诚 came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hondo Hernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 叶伟诚 in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Pawelczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Calvo in the 72nd minute of play.
