When Edmundo Espiga, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Carlos Alberto Souto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Souto having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Samuel Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 85th minute of the match Valentín Carvallo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Alberto Souto skillfully saved the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Carlos Alberto Souto. Carlos Alberto Souto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Alberto Souto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98th minute Luca Espinar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alberto Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
