Mariano Lacasa scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillen Aguillar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guillen Aguillar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Ronaldo Joinvilense put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. 16 minutes into the match, Wolves FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Guillen Aguillar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The Wolves FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 95th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Aguillar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
