Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Suipacha FC's Paulo Dibala started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oscar Moise who took care of the corner kick. In the 10th minute Tor Lönn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Dibala in the 11th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. If Lucas Langoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Stanislao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Justino Stanislao made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Dibala in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 28th minute Francisco Carballar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Stanislao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Carballar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Justino Stanislao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chile booed when Suipacha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Suipacha FC's Justino Stanislao got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Dibala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Justino Stanislao in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Justino Stanislao made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Dibala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justino Stanislao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Dibala's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suipacha FC's goalkeeper Justino Stanislao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Lucas Langoni made a great header on Suipacha FC's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. When Suipacha FC's Paulo Dibala in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Suipacha FC's Justino Stanislao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 57th minute of play. Justino Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Pablo Zabaleta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justino Stanislao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Stanislao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justino Stanislao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 87th minute of play forced Suipacha FC's goalkeeper Justino Stanislao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Lacasa. Justino Stanislao came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Chile's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
